Certified Medical Assistants (Pediatric)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide vital support during examinations and medical procedures.
• Efficiently handle appointment scheduling, copay collection, and insurance verification.
• Administer immunizations, hearing and vision screenings, and CLIA-waived lab tests.
• Maintain meticulous electronic health records and update the GRITS (Georgia Registry of Immunization Transactions and Services) registry.
• Offer outstanding customer service, responding promptly and empathetically to patient inquiries.

Requirements:

• Certification: Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential.
• Experience: Minimum one year in a pediatric setting preferred, but not required.
• Skills: Strong organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, proficiency in electronic health records, and a solid foundation in medical terminology.
• Attributes: High professional standards, with an emphasis on confidentiality and communication skills.
